Letting him live,-You can get him as a follower.-With the pickpocket perk, Perfect Touch (can pickpocket If you kill him, you break one of the tenants. He is the keeper, so if he isn't there, no one is going to take care of the night mother. He is annoying, I agree, but funny at the same time. i always killed him, but then i always forget the need of a follower for Boethiah's quest, and i don't really want to kill any of the other followers (even though i don't use them). Cicero seems destined to die one way or another, so i decided from then on i'd use him as my sacrifice XD Kill him! If you want an awesome sneak follower, just get Jenassa in Whiterun.

I stole Cicero's armor off of his corpse, and then thrall'd his body so I could take it back to my house and stow it away for my thrall collection. When I left the sanctuary, I noticed that Cicero spawned with all of his armor. I killed him and stole it again, and re-thrall'd his corpse. Ive just started the quest where you have to go find Cicero and kill him, however ive gone back to the main questline. Was fighting a Dragon and i summoned the Spectral Assassin that Astrid gave me. And after i killed the Dragon he was still alive, turns out he doesn't go away until he is defeated which took AGES and boy, he does not shut up. New primary objective: Kill Cicero, or leave the Sanctuary If you're going to kill Cicero, then you have to provoke him to fight (screen above).
